First of all, thanks for visiting the site! My name is Chris Tipton, and I am a photographer based in Atlanta, GA. My imaging venture isn’t what many people would consider a “normal” photography service. If it wasn’t already obvious, I specialize in photographing dogs and other pets. On top of that, I enjoy placing heavy emphasis on image post-production and digital retouching to make photos look their absolute best.
So, why specialize in dogs and other pets? Well, not only because they are an adoration of mine and I enjoy working with them, but also because I hold a great interest in the factors that enable us to attain the most precious and unforgettable images of our four-legged friends. Often, that requires more than just being able to take good pictures! Dog handling, awareness of moods and motivations, and dog-specific photo-processing are all factors that come into play and can make pet photography drastically different from “normal/general portraiture”. I’ve been surrounded by dogs and other animals my entire life, and have constantly been involved in training, handling, and of course, showering them with love and affection. Dogs are a passion for me, and I love being able to work with them to create unique visual memories. That is what this website is about: allowing me to help you turn time spent with your beloved pet into beautiful, cherished keepsakes… and having some fun while doing it!
