The big move to Georgia has meant some major changes for our family. One of the most prominent of which has been our involvement in flyball. Chloe and Bella absolutely loved flyball in Rochester. You could see the excitement in their eyes when we merely mentioned the word, and holding them back while they watched other dogs run was nearly impossible. They were so eager to run, grab the ball, and charge back to claim their prize.

Now in Atlanta, it’s been tough to find nearby flyball teams. There are 2 clubs about an hour and a half drive from us, but none that we’ve found practicing in the metro-Atlanta area. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. We aren’t necessarily looking to participate in tournaments… these girls just need to run! Any form of practice would be great for them. If we can’t find a closer flyball club, we’ll probably deal with the long drives and perhaps get them into agility more. Either way, I’ll certainly feel obligated to document the entire adventure here in Atlanta.

Speaking of pictures, the Buffalo Wings Flyball Tournament was held a couple of days before our move. We should have been doing our last minute errands, cleaning, finishing packing, and getting ready to leave Rochester. Were we? No… we were in the middle of the action at the flyball tournament. It was tough knowing that we were leaving all of our friends immediately afterwards, but we still ended up having a ton of fun and got some great pictures all the while.
