First of all, I need to send out an apology. I was supposed to be photographing the CPE agility trial at Boomtowne this weekend, but I got sick. I’ve come down with a bad cold, and as soon as I think I’m getting better, it comes back. So, I’m sorry to everyone who was expecting photos from the event. Duke the Basset

I thought I would also share some photos of a precious Basset Hound named Duke. Now, Duke was especially challenging because he can’t hear very well. I didn’t realize how much of a challenge this would be, but it took some extra effort to get Duke’s attention. Where I could usually squeak a toy or call a name, Duke wouldn’t respond. And every time he would look over to me, he would suddenly realize someone else was there and burst out into barks and howls at me. We worked through it though and I’m happy with the end product. He was an extremely sweet dog though and I think after a while, he really started posing for the camera. Take a look:
